Hump Reduction – Preservation Rhinoplasty for Polish female patient’s nose reduction
Hi, this is Nakao Plastic Surgery.
Here is a before and after picture of a rhinoplasty surgery.

We performed rhinoplasty to correct the humped nose of a Polish female patient.
One common concern among Western patients is having a large nose.
Patients with this condition often have a hump nose, which we treat at our clinic using a method called "Preservation Rhinoplasty".
Rather than simply cutting away the protruding part, this technique involves removing the underlying cartilage and bone beneath the protrusion. Combined with nasal bone osteotomy, it creates a smooth overall reduction.
The advantage of this approach is that it preserves the natural shape of the nose by avoiding disruption to the nasal roof.
Our director, Dr. Takashi Nakao was among the first in Japan to adopt this "preservation rhinoplasty" technique.
He has performed numerous rhinoplasty procedures not only for Asian patients but also for those from Europe and America.
He performs surgery with a holistic view of the entire nose, aiming for the patient's ideal appearance and comfortable breathing function.
