Here, we see an improvement in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
These lines exist to allow a natural movement of the mouth such as talking, eating and expressing ourselves.
Since they are functional and necessary, completely eliminating them is difficult but we aim to achieve the best possible improvement.
Injectable treatments are also effective for these wrinkles but in cases where sagging is present, adding volume may increase the weight and lead to less satisfactory results.
For patients having desires for a lift, starting with a facelift may be the better option.

In Japan, transcutaneous blepharoplasty or Hamra method has recently become very popular. However, we consider not only vertical lifting but also diagonal lift traction is important.
Excessive vertical lifting alone may create excessive fat to remain in the upper cheeks.
To avoid this, some surgeons reduce the amount of traction but for patients seeking improvement in both the under-eyes area and overall facial sagging are not so satisfied with the results.
For such patients, combining a facelift that allows diagonal upward traction may be more effective.
